Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse

The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area (ONA) is undergoing significant restoration efforts to combat erosion. A $16 million project has been initiated to stabilize the shoreline, which includes the construction of a retaining wall, installation of in-water wave breaks, and planting of mangroves to enhance the area's biodiversity and protect the historic lighthouse. BMI Marine and Dickerson Florida Inc. worked with Nucor Skyline for the NZ sheet piles needed to construct the retaining wall.more

Weyerhaeuser Log Export Dock, Phase 1

Weyerhaeuser is replacing an older creosote wooden dock in their Longview, WA location. Orion Marine used Nucor Skyline 30" x 0.500" spiralweld pipe piles with inside fit cutting shoes attached for the first phase of this project that has a very tight water work window.more

Eastern Shipbuilding Group Bulkhead and Berth

R.J. Gorman worked with Nucor Skyline to procure the right steel products needed for the Eastern Shipbuilding Group expansion in Panama City, FL. Using Nucor Skyline NZ sheet piles, H-pile double walers, and Gr. 80 tie rods, the new 1,000 foot bulkhead and berths came together quickly.more

State Route 99/120 Interchange

Jarrett Foundations partnered with Nucor Skyline to furnish and install 16" steel ERW pipe piles for a new highway interchange at SR 99 and SR 120 in Manteca, CA. The project required on-time delivery and project coordination between Jarrett Foundations, Nucor Skyline, Caltrans, and the railroad.more

Irishtown Bend

Richard Goettle used Nucor Skyline products when driving the combi-wall for the Cleveland-Cuyahoga County Port Authority Irishtown Bend on the Cuyahoga River. The river is being traversed by bigger vessels and the combi-wall was needed to hold back the silty soils to keep the river deep enough for ships. Nucor Skyline supplied both rolled and welded pipe piles and NZ sheet piles of differing sizes for the combi-wall.more
