WSDOT I-5 Mercer to SR-520 Portage Bay
Michels Construction worked with Nucor Skyline for the 3,500 tons of permanent drilled shaft casings needed for the second phase of the Rest of the West project in the Seattle area. The casings are being used as the foundation for the new expressway lanes connecting the 520 Bridge to I-5 and for the road widening work being done on the I-5 corridor.
